How should I care for my scissors?
Check the tension:
If your scissors bend hair instead of cutting, the blades may be too loose. If they don’t close easily, the tension may be too tight. Proper tension ensures clean cuts and extends scissor life.
Clean correctly:
Always hand wash your scissors using mild soap and a soft cloth. Dry them thoroughly after each use. Never machine wash.
Keep them sharp:
Our scissors have a 15° blade angle. To maintain their sharpness, use a whetstone or professional sharpening service as needed.
Can I personalize my scissors with engraving?
Yes! You can personalize your scissors by adding a name or text. Just select the “FREE PERSONALIZATION NOW” option before adding your scissors to the cart and enter the name. We'll take care of the rest.

Why is my scissor bending or folding hair?
This usually happens when the blade tension is too loose, not because the scissors are dull. If the blades don’t stay aligned, they can fold the hair instead of cutting it.
Tension Test:
Open the scissors wide and let them fall closed. If they close completely on their own, the tension is too loose. The ideal setting is when they stop just before fully closing.
Proper blade tension is essential for clean, effective cuts and is not considered a defect.
Scissors bending hair due to loose tension are not eligible for warranty claims.
